Where can I check an MOT record?
Use the official GOV.UK MOT history service for recorded tests and mileage entries. Our MOT history guide explains what to look for.
Can you confirm who owns a car?
No. A V5C shows the registered keeper, not legal ownership. Ask the seller for evidence and compare the paperwork with the vehicle before paying.
